Vor paar tagen war im KVR ein thread wo jemand darauf hinwies, dass beim Betatest des neuen D16 Synths (eine Roland SH 101 Emulation) eine Version geleaked wurde.
Thread ist mittlerweile gelöscht worden, aber mit google konnte man den upload finden über umwege...wie ich gerade sehe ist der wohl mittlerweile auch weg. seufz. war eine VSTi Version, .dll gepackt mit 7zip.

This blog will discuss AudioMulch and the ideas behind it, as well as offering information to assist your music making. Over the next few posts I'll also be discussing new features of the forthcoming version 2.0 release – starting today...
AudioMulch is designed for performance, whether on stage or in the studio. For me that means the user interface must support creative flow, spontaneity and improvisation. The patcher has always been central to AudioMulch; you use it to connect contraptions together, routing audio from generators to filters, effects and mixers, and finally to the output of your soundcard. I've always considered that “patching” can be part of a performance – not just a programming task you do to prepare. Some AudioMulch users take live-patching to the extreme and give whole performances building a patch from nothing!
Even if you're not into extreme-live-patching, routing and re-patching audio signals is central to the AudioMulch workflow – it's a big part of being creative with the software. For some time I've wanted to make AudioMulch easier to use and better suited to live performance. Out of this desire, and lengthly discussions with fellow AudioMulch users, I developed a new patcher for AudioMulch 2.0.
With AudioMulch 1.0 every patch cord must be connected manually. Inserting a contraption in between two existing contraptions often involves deleting the connecting patch cords and then creating new ones. There are a few tricks, but overall patching in AudioMulch 1.0 can become a bit tedious.
The AudioMulch 2.0 patcher makes patching easier. To start with, AudioMulch 2.0 includes a side-bar contraptions palette. You can drag contraptions from the palette into the patcher to create them without the need to navigate the “New Contraption” right-click menu.

Alchemy is the ultimate sample manipulation synthesizer. It's a synth powerhouse and yet is very easy to use thanks to its performance controls and remix pads. Just tweak the library of excellent presets from many of the world's top sound designers or dive in and analyse your own samples - it's up to you!
Alchemy blurs the boundaries between sampling and synthesis, and allows you to manipulate sounds in ways which are impossible with conventional samplers. It features additive, spectral and granular synthesis and resynthesis, sampling, and a very capable virtual analog engine with unison and PWM. You can morph or crossfade between sources. You can import your own samples from SFZ, WAV or AIFF files. A wide range of analog modelled filters are included, in addition to a flexible rack of effects which includes all those from CamelPhat and CamelSpace as well as many new effects such as a high quality reverb. The innovative modulation system is extremely flexible, yet easy to use. Alchemy also features a powerful arpeggiator with the ability to import the groove from any MIDI file for immediate synchronization to a beat.
Alchemy ships with over 2GB of samples and analysed content from in-house designers Tim Conrardy and Biomechanoid, as well as designers such as Ian Boddy, Robert Rich, Scott Solida and Nucleus SoundLab. Mode is a bundle of plug-ins from the same stable as Pluggo, and comprises three instruments and two effects processors plus 18 further modules derived from these. The additional modules include 'light' versions of the plug-ins, effects spun off from the instrument plug-ins, and modulators for use as modulation waveform sources. Mode supports all the currently popular plug-in formats on the Mac platform (VST, AU and RTAS) and runs under OS X only, requiring version 10.2.8 or later. Authorisation is via a code available on-line when registering; until you register, the plug-ins will work in demo mode, where the audio is disrupted and replaced by a bleep every minute or so.
Many of the the plug-ins enhance an existing sound in some way through the use of arpeggiators, sequencers, delay, distortion, filtering, feedback and modulation — but not always in the most obvious way. There are also modulators that can be used just as they would be in a modular synth, by patching them to control parameters of a different plug-in. Unusually, the majority of parameters are accessed via knobs that have no numerical display, which is intended to encourage adjustment by ear, and nestling alongside familiar and predictable parameters are oddball creations added to inspire weirdness — which is no bad thing. Furthermore, parameters are often provided with a greater control range than would normally be considered useful, simply so that the user can experiment with excess. The full 'heavy' versions of the plug-ins include inbuilt effects, such as delay.

Drumazon synthesis emulates all the sounds of the original 9O9. All the instruments are synthesized in exactly the same way as the original. All the nuances and detail of the original are captured perfectly. In addition, all Drumazon instruments have enhanced controls. This extra functionality allows the user to adjust the sounds further than on the original unit. This opens up a whole new world of sound creation. Outputs
Drumazon has a flexible output configuration. Every instrument's audio signal can be routed to any of the 11 outputs. This allows users to further shape sounds individually or in groups via their favourite plug-ins.
Each individual output can be set to mono or stereo. Every instrument also has a Mute and Solo button. Mute will not just silence the sound, it will stop the sound being triggered. Solo will stop all other instruments from being triggered and only allow the selected sound(s) to play.
Control
Drumazon has extensive midi control. Midi notes can be used to trigger each individual sound. Alternatively, the internal sequencer can be used. This can be set to play using Drumazon's internal clock or set to synchronize perfectly to the host sequencer.
Most of Drumazon's parameters can be automated within the host and also controlled using MidiCC with an external controller. An easy-to-use Midi Learn function allows reassignment of any of the parameters.

Nithonat is a fully synthesized drum machine based on the classic 606. The unique sound of this machine has been used by many artists over the years in the production of Electro, Hip-Hop and R n B.
The original 606 has been perfectly emulated. However, since Nithonat is software based, D16 were able to enhance the original with extra functionality.
Full control over the sound
On the original 606, the only editable sound parameter was volume. D16 have added to the original and as a result, Nithonat is equipped with extra controls which allow each sound to be shaped in ways which were not possible in the original machine.
A whole spectrum of sounds is now at you fingertips – rumbling kicks, rustling snares and completely synthesized and unnatural sounding toms and hi-hats.
For the first time since the 80s, it is now possible to hear what the analogue synthesis of the 606 is truly capable off!
One of a kind
Nithonat was designed completely from the ground up. Its synthesis is special – even when compared to Nepheton’s. It has very unique and characteristic hi-hat and cymbal sounds which are due to the emulated structure of the circuits in the original. The bass drum has unparalleled attack character and strong punch. The snare sounds sandy.
These unique attributes guarantee that our 606 is not a sub-standard 808 but is a great instrument with a unique timbre which will bring an old school feel to any track it is used on.
New dimension of creativity
Nithonat has a powerful built-in internal sequencer. The tracks can be edited in a very simple and intuitive way and modified with many useful functions. The clear GUI means that sequencer is very easy to use.
In addition to having many internal sequencer modes, Nithonat can also be used as a sound module. All sounds and functions within Nithonat can be controlled from a host sequencer.
Experimenting with Nithonat can give interesting and unexpected results. Operation of Nithonat is very similar to Drumazon and Nepheton – having knowledge of these will mean that using Nithonat will not require much manual reading!

de la Mancha has announced the release of thr33some, a new multi-band stereo tool to allow you to widen or narrow specific frequencies in your mix. Typical use would be to make bass sounds mono whilst progressively spreading higher frequencies, but abuse and experimentation will yield some interesting effects too.
thr33somethr33some has 2 methods of stereo spread and, with gain and pan per band, you have total control over all 3 bands. You can also make each band full spectrum to get 3 full layers and control in and out gain with metering to keep levels under control. There is also a multi-out version for individual processing of each band in your DAW.

Originally developed in the early 1960s and built in Birmingham (England) the Mellotron is an electro-mechanical, polyphonic keyboard. It superseded the Chamberlin, which was the world's first sample-playback keyboard. The heart of the instrument is a bank of parallel linear magnetic audio tapes, which have approximately eight seconds of playing time each. Playback heads underneath each key enable the playing of pre-recorded sounds.
When importing old banks there will be a "205 parameters could not be loaded error message" . That is because I have done a big cleanup in the patch.mem. and deleted 205 parameters.
Most of them was not needed because of the new GUI keyboard system developed by Andy Medforth. It saves CPU and loading times.
New filter model for filter2. Both filters are now 64 bit. Less CPU. Overall CPU for the synth should be 5-6% faster than the 1.4 version. Cleaner filter sound. And filter2 has improved algorithm for controlling self-oscillation level.
Filter2: 6 new modes for FM (audio rate modulation). 3 chain modes and 3 ladder modes. Filter modelling means better distortion and +/- 5% variations in all vital components.
Midi learn by right clicking any controls. Stored in patches/banks.

New GUI keyboard. When you click on the "memorymoon" sign, vertical mouse movements are modulation , while horisontal mouse movements are bend.
LCD now shows patch name, and you can click on the name and select patches from a list. And there are arrows to select patch up/down.
LCD letters has more red colour.
Clicks when changing presets improved. For perfect patch change use the red arrows. And incoming program change from MIDI should work perfect now.
Reduced note stealing clicks. 3 hidden voices makes note stealing less audible.
Voicecard drift: Independent pitch drift for osc1 and osc2. So the detuning between osc1 and osc2 will be different for each voicecard.
New soundfont player with high quality zinc conversion possible. ("CPU" button).
The main focus in the design of Messiah was low CPU. The audio part of the synth engine has only modules by Chris Kerry hand coded in Microsoft assembly language for low CPU (the effect section has modules by other developers). The design is inspired by Prophet5, but instead of saw, tri and pulse oscillators it has 3 innovative oscillators: Morph oscillator with 4 waveforms, unison oscillator with 7 voices (and you can put this oscillator into 5 voice unison for 35 voices), and flexi oscillator that consist of 2 seperate waves that can perform PWM, ring mod. and phase distortion with very low CPU. You can set the pitch of wave B with the "WaveB/env.offset" knob. The synth has a advanced gate with controls for cutoff and harmonics (overtones) for all 16 steps. Messiah is a VST-instrument. You install it by copying the messiah.dll file to your VST-plugin folder.
Symetrizer is an additive synthesizer with a resynthesis function.
