Note: Introduced more host compatibility with this repack, ie: now works
in FL Studio The acuma plugs have also been made more compatible
(DSR & FinalMix) so there are no more GUI redraw exceptions.
These are the VST Plugins included with Mackie Traktion v2, however,
they have been unlocked so they are usable in any VST compatible host.
Normally these plugins are only usable by Mackie Traktion users.
The following plugins are included:
Final Mix
Final Mix enables you to master your sessions like a pro,
printing directly to hard disk or DAT, without having to
rely on expensive mastering houses or outboard gear.
Final Mix can dramatically elevate the quality of your
mixes and help you to create your own professional
masters.
DSR-1
The DSR-1 is a highly accurate, frequency controlled,
3-band dynamics processor. It enables you to quickly
isolate and correct unwanted sibilance in vocal recordings
of singers and speakers.
Mono Compressor
A high-quality plug-in for compressing and limiting mono
tracks like bass guitar and kick drum.
Mono Sidechain Compressor
The Sidechain allows the compressor to takes its cue from
a separate mono input, and apply its action to another.
For example, a vocal track can drop the level of a music
track (ducking), such as when an announcement is made over
background music.
Stereo Compressor
A great-sounding plug-in for compressing and limiting
stereo tracks including keyboards and overhead mics.
Stereo Sidechain Compressor
The Sidechain allows the compressor to takes its cue from
a separate stereo input, and apply its action to another.
For example, a vocal track can drop the level of a music
track (ducking), such as when an announcement is made over
background music.
Stereo 3-Band Compressor
This handy plug-in lets you compress three different
frequency-controlled bands independently for maximum
control and flexibility on recorded material that requires
transparent and unobtrusive compression. It's great for
accentuating a specific EQ range in a drum loop.
"Oh give me a clone
Of my own flesh and bone
With the Y-chromosome changed to X
And when it is grown
Then my own little clone
Will be of the opposite sex..."
There is strength in numbers
Whatever line you play or sing, Clone Ensemble will generate a room full of up to 32 of you in unison or octaves. For vocals, you can change the sex of some or all of the voices. You can dial up a classical choir, a tight jazz chorus or an incredibly realistic ADT effect.
Listen
Listen to this MP3 of of Clone Ensemble in action (202k).
In the first phrase, you'll hear a solo vocal, in the second I've added Clone Ensemble. For the final phrase I sang four harmony parts and applied Clone Ensemble separately to each. I sang the bass part an octave high, and let Clone Ensemble transpose and deepen it.
A massive 128-voice mixed (male & female) choir from four solo vocal tracks.

Some unsolicited user testimonials:
*
I own a digital recording studio in NC. I have been using Clone Ensemble for about four months and it really has provided me with a new production tool. Used with a Digitech vocal harmonizer, it by far produces the best vocal processing that I have been able to come up with, without over processing the vocals. Keeping it clean but giving the vocals a rich, full, fat sound. King Jaymze, YRH, producer.

You rock dude! Excellent job! Danny Danzi, signed artist, www.dannydanzi.com

Excellent ADT effect, the closest to real ADT as I've yet heard. Really smoothed out as a result of both the rate and depth being randomised. The large ensemble effects seem subjectively much creamier and smoother too. Nick Magnus, Genesis-alumni collaborator, www.magnus-music.com

Trevor, I just wanted to say thank you for writing clone ensemble. I bought it about 6 months ago and I use it on EVERY track. We use it mainly to "thicken" up vocals. It makes such a difference. I have never heard any plug in that sounds this good! Thank you for writing this and please - keep on writing plug ins!

What would happen if you gave Godzilla drumsticks? Stormdrum includes 4.5 Gigabytes of loops and multi-samples recorded by 4 world-class percussionists and 1 lunatic producer with enough taiko drums to fill an 18-wheeler truck. 1000's of completely original, evolving drum beds, featuring some of the largest and most impressive drums on the planet (2.5 Gigs).
(Quantum Leap / East West)
QUANTUM LEAP STORMDRUM
WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF YOU GAVE GODZILLA DRUMSTICKS?
QUICK FACTS
# Produced by award-winning QUANTUM LEAP producer NICK PHOENIX.
# 6 Gigabytes of Loops and Multi-Samples from 3 world-class percussionists and 1 lunatic producer with enough taiko drums to fill an 18 wheeler!
# 1000's of completely original, evolving drum beds, featuring some of the largest and most impressive drums on the planet.
# Multi-sampled drum kits and percussion with up to 20-way velocity-switching, organic tech percussion, metal shop, big hits.
# Recorded at the Record Plant, Studio A.
# Includes special versions of KOMPAKT (with Direct-from-Disk* streaming) and INTAKT Samplers from NATIVE INSTRUMENTS (plug-in or standalone) for MAC and PC.
STORMDRUM began when producer NICK PHOENIX went to the Record Plant Studios in Los Angeles to record some big film grooves for movie trailers he was working on. He hired some the best percussionists in the world (Tal Bergman, Richie Garcia, Michito Sanchez), and filled up Studio A with hundreds of drums. The Record Plant said they had never seen anything like it! After a complex setup, they were ready to roll. Everything was recorded through Neuman mics into an SSL Console to 2 inch analog tape and later transfered to 24 bit, 88.2 digital.
Now, after years of recording, editing, and programming, STORMDRUM has arrived!
Actually you get 2 libraries when you purchase STORMDRUM. The INTAKT loops and the KOMPAKT multi-samples. There are 2 seperate interfaces, so that each category includes all of the features needed -
KOMPAKT has disk streaming and multi-timbral capability, as well as a host of other multi-sample parameters like auto sample alternation. This is the perfect interface for the multi-sampled kits and percussion.
INTAKT is the ultimate loop manipulation tool, and syncs the loops to the tempo of your sequencer. It has real-time time compression, cool lo-fi effects, and lots of other amazing features like legato looping.
The beats in STORMDRUM are the result of a desire to get a big film score sound, but not be derivitive. There are many different kinds of grooves with many variations. It would be a mistake to judge the sound of the library without listening to the many different loops. All of the more break-like grooves are based on live grooves and manipulated to sound more electronic. You will find many uses for these beats, but the intention was for them to be useful in film scoring.
The drum-kits and percussion multi-samples in STORMDRUM are really amazing! Everything has 10-24 way velocity switching with left and right hand samples. The sound is BIG and sometimes AMBIENT when neccesary. There are 32 GM drumkits with automatic alternation of left and right hand samples built into each kit (snare, hats and toms). To access the full drum library, users can load up all the individual elements and make up their own 88 key kits. No combination of kicks, snares, hats, toms and cymbals ever overlaps. Load one of each, using 5 of the 8 multi-timbral parts and set the 5 programs to the same midi channel. Instant custom 88 key drumkit! The 88 Key drum setups don?t utilize automatic alternation of samples, but rather give users direct control. The electronic samples are all derived from the acoustic samples in the library. As a result, they are very original sounding, but also quite familiar. There is even an organic velocity switching tech kit and other goodies like metal shop and prepared piano.
The percussion is really nice and extensively multi-sampled. There are some really useful and unusual gems in there. There is a big emphasis on big sounding drums. The 7 man Thunder Ensemble is a first in commercial sample libraries.
STORMDRUM is a NICK PHOENIX/QUANTUM LEAP production.

Six stunningly authentic amp models with high-definition delay and
chorus effects. Upcoming amp models and effects will be available for
purchase for registered users. Click on the speaker icon to hear a
short MP3 clip. Sound clips were recorded using single coil pickups,
an M-Audio Delta 66 soundcard and Tracktion. No other software or
hardware effects were used in the production of these clips. Windows

Tweed Boy: when Muddy Waters invented electricity , this was the
reason. A couple of 'classic 50s' Tweed amps collide in this model,
designed to give you perfect 'boxy' tones for roots rock and dirty
Texas blues. Grit, grind - glorious.
Deluxe 30: from sweet cleans to warm blues , the Deluxe 30 is based on
a couple of Black Panel beauties we happened to have lying around . We
paid special attention to the amount of gain available so you can
move from lush cleans to those sought after 'just-on-the-edge' tones.
CrunchTone: no amp collection would be complete without our tip of
the hat to the great British amps of the mid to late 60 s. Inspiration
for this one was a 45w gem , and a handful of classic vinyl!
Overdrive Custom: time to burn. For fat , warm overdriven leads and
crunchy riffs, this distinctly US -flavoured model is a custom
creating based on some of our favourite rock players . For maximum
effect you'll need Lycra pants and a can of hairspray.
Bulldog 100: meet our fat, nasty , snarling Bulldog. We were trying to
capture a monster Brit rock sound - and were rather pleased with the
results. A pure Brit thoroughbred , but we suspect steroids may have
been involved...
VT MetalHead : all out bombastic rock and metal tones are the preserve
of the rectofried VT MetalHead.

WormHole is a VST/AU plug-in to send audio streams over a local network. It is now possible to transmit audio between Macs and PCs over TCP/IP!
Features:
* Transmits 32 Bit audio over TCP/IP.
* Low Latency on a LAN.
* One 44 kHz Mono Channel requires 175 kByte/sec.
* Works with any Network Interface (Ethernet, Firewire, Airport).
* Works with any Audio Units/VST host.
* Can be used on a single machine to send audio between applications or to send audio between multiple computers.
Stereo Room is one of the reverbs from the legendary Eventide SP2016. It processes two input channels and creates a pair of diffuse reverberant outputs. It offers parameters for pre-delay, decay time, diffusion, EQ, and a unique position control. The position control simulates placing the listener anywhere within the simulated room allowing the reverb to "sit" in the mix without cluttering it up.
Features:
* Level Displays and Digital Clip LED indicate the input level to the reverb.
* Input Level control to attenuate the input to the reverb so as not to overdrive the reverb and produce distortion.
* Mix control to control the mix between the unprocessed input and the reverberated output.
* Kill button to quickly remove the input from the reverberator so that you can listen to the tail (reflections) caused by your input.
* Predelay introduces a delay before the reverb effect.
* Decay (RT60) sets the time (in seconds) for a full amplitude signal to decay by 60 dB.
* Position control simulates placing the listener anywhere within the simulated room allowing the reverb to "sit" in the mix without cluttering it up.
* Diffusion alters the character of your space ? from the sharp reflections of flat, hard surfaces (Low) to the diffused reflections from rough, irregular ones (High).
* EQ Block with HIGH and LOW gain and frequency controls.
RaySpace uses real-time ray-tracing techniques to analyze hand drawn spaces created by the user. Essentially, you just move the source and listener locations around, draw walls to make enclosures, and listen as the surround impulse responses are made on the fly!
Rayspace uses up to 512 different ray-traced sound directions, each one continuously collecting information from the enclosures. Taking into account air absorbency and the effect of each wall reflection and filtering made en route to the listener.
RaySpace does not use any smearing filters, or any convolution algorithms. It simply bounces the rays around the scene and returns a clean but complex effect back to the listener.
Features:
* Draw your own rooms at 1 metre resolution.
* Real-time response update.
* Wall dampening and absorbency controls.
* 4 channel output for surround sound reverb.
* Automated positions and controls.
PPMulator is a cross-platform VST plug-in meter which exactly mimics the look and feel of a professional broadcast Peak Programme Meter (PPM). By adding PPMulator to the master output of your audio editing program, you can record, edit, mix and export your audio within a precisely-calibrated workspace - something which is often impossible to do when working in a non-studio environment.
PPMulator is designed to closely follow the ballistics of mono, stereo and mid-side (MS) PPM meters conforming to IEC 268-10/DIN 45406 and has a number of built-in additional features, including various display options and a highly-useful Peak Logging process which logs all peaks/overloads against the timecode in the host application where they occurred.
PPMulator - Initial Feature Set:
* Configurable as a Type I/Type II PPM, or set your own custom reference levels, ballistics and settings.
* Both 'box-and-needle' PPM or plasma bargraph graphical display options.
* Unique Peak Logging feature - create lists of 'overs' logged against timecode for unattended mixes/laybacks.
* Mono/Stereo or Mid-Side (MS) metering options, with overload LED.
* Fully-resizable single or dual meter display.
* Monitor both input level when recording and output level when mixing.
* Mono gain trim to M3 (-3dB) or M6 (-6dB) standards.
* Phase-error warning light for maximum mono compatibility.
* Built-in reference tone generator for meter alignment and calibration.
Supported Metering Standards:
* IEC 269-10 Type I : Nordic N9
* IEC 269-10 Type I / DIN 45406
* IEC 269-10 Type IIa : BBC scale
* IEC 269-10 Type IIb : EBU scale
System 1200 is a "light" version of Refined Audiometrics Laboratory's Systems 2000 and 5000, suitable for use on personal computers as a VST plugin. It restores lost hearing for musical listening for those who have blown their ears or otherwise lost some (or a lot of) hearing acuity. Corrections are handled in stereo at 44.1 kHz sample rates, with 50 overlapping Bark bands and 4-fold temporal overlap processing, to push inter-modulation distortion products more than 80 dB below the signal levels. Corrections are updated at approximately 1 KHz rate.
A sophisticated physics and hearing physiology model computes the corrections needed at every instant and in every Bark band so that the listener regains "Golden Ear" abilities. Hearing corrections can be dialed in from standard audiology measurements, or by using the proprietary single-slider VTuning, which suffices for most listeners.
The product is intended for use in a VST host program where this plugin will be the last processing step before reaching the headphones or speakers. A headphone crossover is included as a switchable option that simulates cross-channel head-shadowing and transit delay to relieve the headphone listener of excessive stereo separation from mixes intended for playback on speaker systems.

A new approach to analysis
Inspector XL (IXL) was designed to fulfill a number of familiar analysis tasks with professionalism, style, and finesse. Available as a series of interactive modules, Inspector XL includes six individual, thoughtfully designed plug-ins for: FFT, Spectagram and Third Octave Spectral analysis, flexible level metering, plus phase and correlation, balance, stereo imaging, and statistical clipping with overload analysis. From top to bottom, Inspector XL provides a comprehensive, flexible, and easy-to-use approach.
"I wish I had better meters ... I wish I had better meters ..."
How many times have you wished for larger meters? Change the color of your meters? More flexible meters? Or more standard meters than those available in your host DAW? Inspector XL's meters answer all of these needs and more. Amazingly configurable, infinitely usable meters you should not be without. Horizontal and vertical layout with customizable color, range, ballistics, zero reference, and so on. And still supporting standard level meter formats including K-System and IEC Digital PPM. Inspector XL has got you covered with professional meters you can use anywhere and everywhere.
Choices, choices, and more choices
If you like choices , Inspector XL offers you plenty. Each module provides a range of color and configuration choices. Use the integrated, easy-to-use color picker to customize the color of your spectral analysis, phase scope or level meter data. Select from FFT, Spectagram, or ISO Third Octave spectral analysis to match your needs. Display all spectral data you need to see: Peak, Peak Hold, Average (or any combination) and choose the default Third Octave analysis data type. View phase in traditional XY or Vector modes or utilize Roger Nichols Digital?s intuitive Polar mode - each individually configurable, of course. Use standard meters if you want or stretch out and customize your Dow integrated or separate peak/RMS; customizable caution and warning zones; plus selectable primary meter type (peak/RMS) are just a few of the available options.
But, wait - there's more
Inspector XL isn't just a pretty face, it was designed with the features you need to make everyday use a joy. Save and Load function means you can save task-specific settings for future reference. Inspector XL's innovative "Import" function allows you to extract color settings, saved spectral snapshots and other selected data from a settings file without over-writing all of your current parameters. And if you're familiar with RND's concept of alarms, you'll appreciate Inspector XL's approach. Extensive alarm functions include warnings for correlation and max band level to over and clipping statistics. Inspector XL even allows you to define a clip in your own terms for statistical analysis relevant to your sessions. Alarm groups and alarm severities let you further customize alarm behavior. Inspector XL has so much to offer...

Fader in Bewegung
Metaphysical Function stand-alone Demoversion:
