Different Programs have different features, and not all of them will work with every scanner cable.
ProScan and ScanMaster ELM work with knock-off OBD Chipsets (ELM327) and with the official ScanTool.net OBDlink tool .

Hier eine kleine aber verdammt gute Sammlung von Software für die günstigen eBay Diagnostic Kabel.
Wurden erfolgreich mit folgenden Kabel getestet:
ELM327 USB (Für Autos mit Can BUS) und KKL USB VAG-COM 409.1 Diag Cable (Ohne Can Bus, jedoch kommt man in sämliche Systeme, Airbag, ABS, Motor,....)
beide Kabel kosten bei Ebay je, knapp 10 Euro inkl. Versand.
In CAN kommt Ihr nur mit dem EML rein, getestet an audi a6 bj 2009 und Golf 5. Das VAG geht NUR für autos OHNE can. Mit dem eml könnt ihr nicht so viel machen wie mit dem VAG.
