4. Install this addon (locate your F.E.A.R 2 dir and into it)
5. Copy the content from the SKIDROW directory on the DVD to
your installation directory and overwrite

ich hab von fear2 installierte dateien also "stand alone" bekommen. Da war der Loader mit bei und ne Datei wurde inne registry kopiert. Über den Loader starten und es läuft.
Hab jetzt Reborn installiert - geht nicht-.-
binkw32.dll is missing from your computer. <- is vllt version 1.00, damit gehts ja nicht...
edit: hab ka welche version das ist. Wenn ich patch 1.05 installieren will, geht das nicht. Weil halt Fear 2 nicht installiert ist. Nur die Dateien sind da.
hat iwer vllt den 1.00 - 1.05 patch nicht als exe sondern als Dateien die man überschreiben kann?!

PROPER Notes:
CPY, didn't once again test their shit, before putting it out.
1. First of all CPY's crack is not properly cracked.
2. Once again their release is questionable, as they included
nearly 1GB of old files, that the DIE release already have.
These files isn't included in the addon, when you get it
directly from the steam servers.
3. CPY included older versions of several dll files, files
that the original v1.05 update includes, when you get it
directly from the steam servers.
Do it properly or don't do it at all!

etwas präzisere Angaben oder auch einfach ein anspruchsvolleres Schriftdeutsch wären natürlich toll. Dann rate ich mal ins blaue rein: Die Installation ging sehr wohl aber beim starten von reborn kommt dann die Meldung mit der fehlenden binkw32.dll, richtig? Dann schau doch mal bitte nach in welches Verzeichnis Du s installiert hast.

Wie schon gesagt: es ist NICHT installiert. Sondern nur die installierten Dateien in einem Ordner mit dem Loader (stand alone praktisch).
Hab dann das Addon in den Fear 2 Stand Alone Ordner installiert aber kann es nicht starten, weil die Einträge nicht in der Registry vorhanden sind (Weil das Hauptspiel nicht installiert ist). Denke mal das ich eine Datei brauche, die die Werte des addons in die Registry einträgt.
Also bei mir geht es auch nicht weil die binkw32.dll nicht gefunden wurde. Hatte Fear 2 schon installiert und das Add-on genau in den Ordner reininstalliert (C:\Programme\Spiele\F.E.A.R. 2\Fear 2 Project Origin). Das normale Fear 2 geht auch noch und ich habe das release von Dark Project
Also bei mir geht es auch nicht weil die binkw32.dll nicht gefunden wurde.
passiert wenn Du s nicht ins Hauptverzeichnis von fear2 installierst..

und genau das ist der Fehler, es darf kein zusätzlicher Ordner im Hauptverzeichnis angelegt werden (rot markiert). Man hat dann nachher auch nur noch die eine exe die fear2 startet und kann dann innerhalb des Menüs wählen ob man fear2 oder eben das addon (Phönix) spielen mag.
