Kevin Sorbo (TV-Serien "Andromeda" und "Hercules") spielt
die Hauptrolle in der actiongeladenen Fortsetzung von
"Walking Tall". Dieses Mal geht es um einen Lokalhelden,
der die Gerechtigkeit selbst in die Hand nimmt. Nick
(Sorbo) kehrt in seine Heimatstadt zurück, nachdem sein
Vater, der Sheriff, unter mysteriösen Umständen bei einem
Autounfall ums Leben gekommen ist.Schnell findet er heraus,
dass die liebenswerte Stadt,in der er aufwuchs,inzwischen
von einer brutalen Bande skrupelloser Verbrecher beherrscht
wird, die mit Einschüchterung und Erpressung die Bewohner
dazu bringen, ihnen ihre Geschäfte zu verkaufen. Mit Hilfe
eines FBI-Agenten und ein paar alten Freunden gelingt es
Nick, selbst Sheriff zu werden. Er gelobt, alles in seiner
Macht stehende zu tun,um die Gang und ihren rücksichtslosen
Anführer zu vernichten und seine Stadt zurückzuerobern.
