A small rural Spanish village is haunted and terrorized by vampires. Doctor Dora Maeterlick is called to a sinister, dilapidated, Bavarian castle by Carl von Ryssenberg, the vampire son of a dying baron to look after his ill father. Baron Carl von Ryssenberg is suffering from a strange blood disease. Erika, assistant to the Doctor, falls in love with Carl. But Carl is a vampire and pretty soon he makes Erika his vampire bride. From now on Dr. Maeterlick plunges into a nightmarish world of dark happenings. Under the influence of the full moon Carl attacks and vampirizes every female in sight.
